Diatomite is a unique natural mineral stone made from fossilized aquatic remains. Highly porous, it can hold up to 150% of its weight in moisture, giving it great absorbing power. Its almost instant drying helps prevent the growth of bacteria and mold, as well as eliminate bad odors.
