What is diatomite?
Diatomite is a unique natural mineral stone made from fossilized aquatic remains. Very porous, it retains up to 150% of its weight in moisture, which gives it a great absorption power. Its almost instantaneous drying prevents the development of bacteria and mold, as well as eliminates bad odors.

At KOOROO, we incorporate the highest possible percentage of diatomite so that the absorption and drying effect is maximal. It should be noted that the initial state of diatomite stone is in powder form, which is a natural and harmless substance. We add other components to obtain our finished products, and each component is controlled and validated by accredited external organizations to meet health and safety requirements for the final consumer; these ingredients are of course harmless to our body (for example: quartz and plant fibers that serve to maintain the shape of the final product).
